Made from 96% polyester and 4% elastane, it has a slight 2-way stretch for added comfort and flexibility. At approximately 110 GSM, it is lightweight and drapes beautifully without feeling excessively heavy.

Sewing Information

A fine, sharp needle is recommended when sewing satin. Use fine thread and test the stitch length, tension and needle on a spare piece before beginning your finished garment.

Pins can sometimes leave marks on delicate satin surfaces, so place them within the seam allowance where possible. Take care when pressing and use a low temperature with a protective pressing cloth. Always test the iron on a small piece first.

Important Information

The shiny surface may appear lighter or darker depending on the direction of the fabric, lighting and viewing angle. For a consistent finish, lay all garment pattern pieces in the same direction before cutting.

Colours may appear slightly different because of photography, lighting and individual screen settings. If an exact colour, weight, stretch or handle is important, we recommend ordering a sample before purchasing a larger quantity.

Dispatch:
Stock orders are usually dispatched within 1-2 working days, whilst print order can take up to 5 working days.

Returns:
We accept returns within 14 days of delivery. Fabric must be unused, uncut, and in original condition.

Fabric is carefully folded and packaged in a protective poly mailing bag or box, depending on the size of your order.

Orders of 30 metres or more of a single fabric will be dispatched on a roll.

Yes, wherever possible multiple metres are supplied as one continuous length.
